Our drumming, percussion and creative workshops are great for many different community groups, clubs and societies, for adults and children (we are fully CRB checked). Workshops are delivered at a venue of your choice.

We work in diverse community settings including:

Our creative percussion workshops help to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Our experience ranges from pre-school to retired groups; from enthusiasts to disenfranchised; from interest groups to professional clubs and societies.

Our drumming & percussion workshops are much more than just a musical experience. We can include history and information on the instruments we use, embarking on an exploratory journey together.

Feedback from our workshops consistently shows that participants also develop a broad range of social and creative skills which can be applied in all areas of life.

  Our Drumming, Percussion & Creative Workshops

Place a group of people in a stimulating, non-threatening atmosphere where they can experiment and have fun and they will discover more than they thought possible.  This is a Waywood Creative workshop.

People attending our workshops often tell us that they'd 'always wanted to have a go at something a bit different', maybe specifically playing drums and percussion, but they'd either been too afraid to ask or they didn't know how to go about finding the opportunity. We are here to meet the needs of people like these.

'I thought the session was tremendous.  It was a great environment for our guys, many of whom have low self-esteem ... they were able to join in with the session without feeling pressured which worked really well.  I liked the way that everyone could stay with the rhythms we were trying and nobody felt completely lost.  Stuart was very good at sensing how everyone was getting on ... the evening was a memorable event for our guys and a very enjoyable one!'
