   DRUMMING & PERCUSSION WORKSHOPS IN THE COMMUNITY

Our drumming, percussion and creative workshops provide an excellent resource for a wide-range of community groups, clubs and societies, for adults and children (we are fully CRB checked). Workshops are delivered at a venue of your choice.

We work in diverse community settings including:

  Community Groups & Organisations
  Uniformed Organisations (e.g., Brownies, Guides, Cubs, Scouts etc)
  Youth Clubs
  Rotary Clubs
  Community-Based Clubs & Societies
  Charities & Voluntary Organisations
  Special Interest Groups & Societies
  Residential Care & Retirement Homes
  ... anyone who wants to have a go!

We run creative percussion workshops which help to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Our experience ranges from pre-school to retired groups, from the enthusiastic to the disenfranchised, from interest groups to professional clubs and societies.

Our workshops are far more than just a musical experience.  We can include history and information on the instruments used in our workshops, embarking on an exploratory journey together.

Feedback from our workshops consistently shows that participants also develop a broad range of other social and creative skills which they apply to other areas of their lives.

Waywood Creative drumming, percussion and creative workshops are also great for stress-relief, relaxing and letting off steam!

Place a group of people in a stimulating, non-threatening atmosphere where they can experiment and have fun, and they will discover more than they thought possible.  This is a Waywood Creative workshop.

People attending our workshops often tell us that they'd 'always wanted to have a go at something a bit different', maybe specifically playing drums and percussion, but they'd either been too afraid to ask or they didn't know how to go about finding the opportunity.  We are here to meet the needs of people like these.

Other groups just want a change, or the chance to try something totally different, or just to relax and have fun together.
